Dr. Shimona Malik received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2018. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2023, graduating summa cum laude with Omicron Kappa Upsilon honors. Dr. Malik then completed her advanced specialty training in Endodontics at Boston University, earning both a Master of Science in Dentistry and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Endodontics.

Dr. Malik has been actively involved in research in the fields of endodontics, oral biology, neuroscience, and women's health. Her work has been presented at the American Association of Endodontists Annual Conference and published in scientific journals. She has been recognized with several honors and awards, including the Pacific Endodontic Research Foundation Scholarship, the ADEA Academic Dental Career Fellowship and the Boston Area Health Education Center 3.0 Scholar Award.

Dr. Malik is passionate about community service, teaching, and improving access to healthcare. Outside of dentistry, She enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, crafting, cooking, being outdoors and caring for her many plants.
